Dear students, parents, and teachers, Studying the language of poetry was fun. You'll be spending the last weeks of the school year writing poems (even more fun!) that showcase what you've learned, especially the use of imagery. Your poems may be on any topic, but should incorporate sensory details (descriptions that appeal to the five senses) and figurative language (similes, metaphors, etc.) The following documents will help:
