Writing tools, tips, and tricks!
Writing tools, tips, and tricks!
Hi, kids! I'm Elsa Pla, the Write Cook.
I'm a writer and licensed Language Arts teacher with an MFA in Writing for Children and Young Adults from Vermont College of Fine Arts. I've been teaching middle school students for 25+ years (whew!). My goal is to provide 21st century young people (that means you!) with a table-full of yummy writing goodies (tools, tips, tricks, and more!) that you may use to improve your writing skills.
If you desire to improve your writing and are willing
to study and learn, then this website/blog is for you.
This site is and will be a work in progress. I've gathered ideas and resources from various educational sources and will continue to do so. I'll be incorporating your ideas and suggestions as well. In other words, we'll be cooking together! You can contact me at [email protected]
And make sure to click on The Cook's Blog (The Write Kitchen) for resources, exercises, and snacks!
